Member Friendly Policies

Second Chance Checking

We offer checking accounts to people with past negative history or banking experience.

Call 206-622-1850 or email expresscu@expresscu.org to get in touch with our staff. We will take the time to review your history, listen to your story and see what we can do.

Overdraft Transfer Protection

If there are insufficient funds in your checking account when you attempt to make a purchase, our system will automatically check to see if there are enough funds in your savings to complete the purchase (note that a small fee applies for these transfers).

If not, we’ll decline the transaction instead of charging you costly overdraft fees.

You can also choose to opt out of this service, if you’d like.

Bilingual Staff Who Care

Our staff is ready to assist you in either English or Spanish. Share your story and financial goals. Our team will take the time to explain ways we can help or refer you to other services to help you on your financial journey.
